Early Childhood Programs
Kid's Corner #200
Children are encouraged to explore, discover, and create through play. Every activity from art and block building to snacks and musical instruments develop children's cognitive, physical, emotional, and social growth. These developmentally appropriate activities are designed to enhance children's self-esteem and build self-confidence to help them achieve their highest learning potential.
During interactive play, the children can make many choices from a wide variety of activities such as dramatic play, blocks, play dough, manipulative, painting, drawing, and cutting. Through these daily activities children learn valuable pre-reading skills such as colors, shapes, writing and letter and number recognition. Circle time involves stories, finger plays and conversations. Self help skills, encouraged as children, teach them how to pass out snacks, pour their own juice, practice good manners, clean up after snack and play and put on their own coats.
